UK Drainage Network (UKDN) has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Paul Wozencroft in the newly created position of Supply Chain Director. Paul will be responsible for streamlining operations through UKDN’s external and internal supply chain, with the aim of bringing real cost and business benefits to its insurance customers.

Paul, who lives in Cardiff, Wales, boasts many years of experience within the claims management industry, working previously with DAS and Cunningham Lindsey as the company’s supply chain manager. At UKDN, Paul will be based at the company’s central office in Solihull, West Midlands, and will work closely with the business’ other directors to introduce improvements throughout the supply chain.

Paul’s appointment follows the merger of all of UKDN’s regional operations into one branded business earlier this year. Greg Beech, managing director at UKDN, said: “Our insurance partners and policy holders are already seeing the benefits of improved service levels following the merger. The aim now is to ensure that, in every part of our operation, we are working as effectively and smartly as possible so that we can deliver the very best service to all of our customers. With Paul on board, we aim to undertake a full review of the way that we currently manage our supply chain. We are thrilled to have him on our team.”

Established in 2003, UKDN delivers a comprehensive specialist drainage service, managing drainage and burst pipe claims and providing subsidence investigation services through 10 locations nationwide. A pioneer in leading industry standards, UKDN was the first drainage solution provider to be audited and approved by the WRC (Water Research Centre) for compliance with the Drain Repair Book, which has been adopted by the Association of British Insurers (ABI). The founding members of UKDN helped co-author the standard and the company has recently been reaccredited under the terms of the 2nd edition of the Drain Repair Book.
