Working under delegated authority for the UK's largest household insurers has been a fundamental part of our business since its inception. The ability to accurately pinpoint the problems causing the drain failure of blockage has enable UKDN to save insurance companies significant sums of money in unnecessary repair works. UKDN remain the only volume drain services provider accredited to the ABIAssociation of British Insurers initiated WRcWater Research Centre Drain Repair Book, which defines the adopted industry best practice for drainage investigation and repair.

Operating to some of the most stringent service levels in the industry, UKDN are able to manage claims in their entirety from initial instruction, through liaison with policyholders, collection of excesses, reporting to loss adjusters and final invoicing. By maintaining a fully auditable process flow, UKDN are able to demonstrate average claims completion times (from instruction to invoicing) below 15 working days and customer satisfaction rates consistently greater than 98%.
With a dedicated shared drain team, UKDN can also provide insurers with a market leading recovery of drain repair costs where the damage is found to be the responsibility of two or more households. This team liaises with each of the property owners to identify their insurer and obtain agreement to undertake works. Upon completion, the team obtains satisfaction notes from the householders, collects excesses and invoices the balance appropriately to each of the insurers involved.
UKDN has delegated authority with insurer clients who represent more than 75% of all insured households in the UK.

UKDN are authorised to act as lead adjusters on large shared drainage claims operating under the Insurer's Drainage Forum protocol. As part of its role, UKDN review claims and make recommendations relating to the validity of each claim, the scope of works proposed and the cost of those works.
